Artist Statement
This film series showcases my body's emergence between pregnancy to one year postpartum through embodied and intuitive movement. By juxtaposing these moments, I aim to create a living collage that reveals the dialogue between my pregnant and postpartum selves. This reflective and intimate portrayal of motherhood invites viewers to witness and connect with their own embodied experiences, exploring the beauty and complexity of this transformative journey. Through this visual narrative, I hope to offer a sense of connection and understanding, encouraging others to embrace their own stories of change and continuity.
